Sony Mobile has released a new Concept for Android Marshmallow firmware with build number MOB30G.Z1.3598. This latest software includes a new app called “Xperia Tips”, which will soon appear in Xperia X models. Sony describes this app as giving you “tips about hidden gems and potential optimizations based on your usage patterns and device surroundings.” As you can see from the screenshots below, the inbox of the app is empty to start with, but should fill up with personal tips as you use your phone.
Other changes in this version include the latest Google security patches from May 2016, an updated InTouch app and a bug-fix relating to migrating data to SD card. The update will roll over the next few days to those Xperia Z3 (D6603) and Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803) users running Concept firmware.
