Sony Mobile has unveiled the Xperia XA1 Ultra, which is an update on last year’s Xperia XA Ultra. The big features of the Xperia XA1 Ultra include a 6-inch edge-to-edge 1080p display and a powerful 16MP front camera with OIS and front-facing LED flash. Sony has also adopted the endless loop surface design, first seen in the Xperia XZ last year.
The front camera is powered by a 1/2.6-inch Exmor R sensor with 23mm wide-angle F2.0 lens. On the rear, Sony is using a 1/2.3-inch 23MP Exmor RS camera with hybrid autofocus. It uses a 24mm wide-angle F2.0 lens.
The Xperia XA1 Ultra sports a MediaTek Helio P20 MT6757 chipset, 4GB RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of eMMC internal storage. Other features include a 2700mah battery, a microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and a USB Type-C port.
The Xperia XA1 Ultra has dimensions of 165 x 79 x 8.1 mm and weighs 188g. The Xperia XA1 Ultra will launch in Gold, White, Black and Pink colours when it is released in Spring 2017.
