morning guys, update to 4.3 and can say i like it, few problems i have found though is screen display keeps changing to 15 secs. have to change setting at least twice a day. also i have to apps missing in the tray but they are on my phone when i search for then using using google search bar. Anyone else having problems ?
hey there, was looking around hoping to find info on the bugs that I've encountered but i guess this is the list right now so here's what I've found since the 4.3 update. Spell Check (red underline) about 80% of the time will cause the application I'm typing in to crash. This is when I select a correction for a highlighted error. I use the Google Keyboard and the spelling suggestions that appear in the black bar do not seem to cause an issue Seemingly random crashes that happen with various apps (games, comic book readers, browser etc etc) although this was in the first few days after the patch, I haven't had a crash since then on anything other than the spell check. Also, I haven't noticed the screen display issue that you have had bombay. Is there a comprehensive list anywhere from the devs?
sorry for my late reply, i havent noticed any of the bugs to speak about. i am still having the same issues. i dont know if there is a list sorry.
Having problems with ending calls and operating phone with car Bluetooth radio. Some issues with playing music also. Got another system update today, about 35mb. Hoping it would be fixed.
no it`s not that.on BT headset if you set a music to play on messeges(SMS) the device play the song very low volume and in the BT headset it won`t play ,and in other like e-mail calendar and others it won`t play at all fone and headset.
Bluetooth issues not yet fixed, terrible functioning with car Bluetooth radio, says 'activity phone not responding'. Unable to add FB account to account section in settings. Would Sony please fix this our how do I revert to 4.2.2.
i have this problem while calling the screen goes black when i hardly press the power button many times still the same when the other person is cut the call then only lights came . its very frustrating me. Anybody have this problem before after 4.3 only i got this problem .. if any solution for this problem post here thanks in advance
Finally I think I got it fixed. I guess it's an incompatibility of a 'call recorder' 3rd party app. I booted into safe mode and tested it, it was working perfectly.(safe mode disables all 3rd party app.) After that I started uninstalling all 3rd party apps related to phone calls, it started working well when i uninstalled a call recorder app. Good luck. (I'm still not able to add Facebook or Facebook with Xperia to accounts.)
quick update, the problem i was having with the screen display seems to have stopped, dont know i have done to sort it out, i have got rid of a few apps so it could of been one of them. with the app tray i have noticed all the apps are in the alphabetical menu, am not sure if i like what they have done to the app tray.
Hi, can any one hellp me? when i recieve a call on my Xperia Z and anser it, the screen goes black, but if i need to surf the phone the screen remains black during the call!!! is it posible to recalibrate the proximity sensor?? thanks
