My S will not show up on my computer. Keeps stating cannot connect. Anyone know of a solution without having to do a factory data reset
I assume you've got all of your software correctly installed on your PC? Either way it should just appear. Sony seem to have disabled Mass Storage Mode in the new models which may have been easier.
yes, you have no other option than MTP protocol, in my computer works fine even before install the sony software. I also notice that it won't work on my Alpine car stero USB (unkown device), i will try on my girls sony radio, who knows.
