Hi i have a O2 Xperia Go currently running GB. This phone is new and a few days old as it is a 3rd replacement xperia go in the last month. My girlfriend used to have the phone but got sick of having to replace it so gave it to me while she got a new phone. The problem for her was that once she upgraded it to ICS the phone would always cut off calls (sometimes a few mins in and sometimes right away). She took it back to o2 a few times but they would not give money back despite it been new they just said they would send it to sony. Because of this i now have the phone and use it as my main phone now (Replaced my Arc S). I am wondering if anybody has an o2 Go and has had this problem or was my girlfriend maybe holding it wrong. I have had no issues with cut out on GB but i am really wanting to update it or flash official firmware but i cannot find it anywhere so am stuck with only the Pc companion update which i do not want to risk till i get a second opinion. Does anybody know what I should do or where i can find the official Sony non o2 branded firmware for the Xperia Go.

(PS O2 have been useless and basically said If we dont like it dont update it)

I will be grateful for any help :)

Could it be something to do with the proximity sensor? My wife was using this phone and kept cutting off people because the proximity sensor wasn't doing its job properly.

Try downloading Cheekey Hang Up Guard - it solved her problems instantly!

Hi Thanks for your reply i took a risk in the end and updated it using the O2 update and have no problems myself at all. Phone works well and no cut offs at all :)
