Sony Mobile has announced that the official Xperia Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich beta ROM is now available for the Xperia PLAY. Sony had released the beta ROM for three other Xperia handsets (the Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray) around a month back. Sony Mobile is looking for user feedback particularly for the compatibility with games. You need to be running at least firmware version 4.0.2.A.0.42 before installing the ROM.
