Hello Everyone I currently have the Xperia Z and have the chance to upgrade however I am torn between the Xperia Z1 and the Z2. See normally I would just go for the latest handset but at the minute I can get a free Sony BTX300 (they go for around £90) with a Z1 at the same £29 a month I can get a Z2 for. So do I go for: -Xperia Z2 or Xperia Z1 with free £90 Sony Speaker? Finding it very hard to make a decision :/ Thanks for any help!
Easily get the Z2. It'll be more current for longer, and have more features. You can always pick up a speaker system, but it'll be more effort and probably cost much more to upgrade to the Z2 later.
bloobat which network are you on seing you put £ in your conversation, i am with EE and they allow you to upgrade every 6mths, i went from a samsung s3 and seen the light and done the 6mths early upgrade and went for the z1, with the process they have it is called "swap" so you basicly pay a fee and trade in your old handset ( this option can only be done in EE retail stores), for example when i got my z1 i was 6mths into my contract so an early upgrade for me would of been £700+ but with my tarrif it only cost me £49-99, so now that the z2 is coming out i have pre ordered the z2 and when it is released it will cost me £49-99 again instead of £700+ So basicly what im saying is maybe upgrade to the z1 get your speaker wait 6mths and do the swap in the EE retail store see below link for more info http://explore.ee.co.uk/swap
hello nick, am with EE and was very excited when i read your post but then when i looked at the link it says only certain handsets are eligible to be swapped, none of which are Sony phones, i have the xperia Z. can you confirm that EE will swap the xperia range phones?
The only thing I suggest is pop into a retail store and ask as the offer has progressed the mobile phone criteria may of as well
Nick i spoke to EE, i have 11 months left on my contract. I was told my early upgrade fee would be £500, i would not be eligible for a discount. i'll just wait i think
