Hi Does anyone know if the Xperia S is any good as an mp3 player? I was looking to buy a Sony NW Z1000 Android Walkman but have seen this and as my contract is nearly up, I'm considering this as an alternative mp3 player/ new phone. I know the Walkman has a S-Master MX Amplifier but does anyone know if this makes a huge difference to the listening experience? I hear android apps such as Winamp and PowerAmp are very good! Any help greatly appreciated!
Haven't tried WAV, but Poweramp and Winamp are both very good. The default music player can be controlled via the lock screen too. Obviously this can hit battery life, but even when streaming using the Play Music app I've not had too much of a hit on battery life.
