Sony has just unveiled the Xperia V (LT25i) at IFA 2012 and was the best-kept secret, having seen very few leaks in terms of specs and design. The handset sports a 4.3-inch (720 x 1280) display and will run the Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 chipset (1.5Ghz dual-core and Adreno 225 GPU). It has 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory (1.2 GB firmware; 2 GB of “Phone memory” and 3.7 GB for media) with microSD memory card support. It will come with a 13MP Exmor R rear camera capable of shooting 1080p video and a VGA front camera too. This particular version (LT25i) will have LTE, but we understand that a HSPA+ version (LT25h) will also appear at some point. Other features include a 1750mAh battery and micro-sim. The handset will come in black, white and pink colours. It weighs just 120g and has reasonable svelte dimensions (129 x 65 x 10.7 mm).
