Does anyone try these kinds of dock stations? I want to buy one but I am wondering why they have such a big price different. One is USD24 while the other is USD 56, which is a double. The expensive one looks like it's the official Sony dock where you just put the phone in place and it charges. The cheaper one looks absolutely pointless to me. You still have to open the USB port cover and it looks like the port cover is going to get crushed when you put the phone on it. I wouldn't buy that one.
I know your question was from April but I bought a charging dock off of Ebay for less than $20. They work great.
It's best to buy an original product, I did in the shop sony DK26 model for $ 39.02 USD and is an item that fits and works perfect with the Xperia Z.
