Anyone else really dissapointed with how they made the usb cover? I have the Gnex right now but I cracked the screen so was going to get this phone instead of paying $350 to fix the screen. Even though no car dock with the 3pin connector was made for the gnex yet I was really hoping the xperia s wouldnt be released with that hideous usb cover. would rather have a clean no cover like the arc s. basically if you want to charge the phone anywhere there will be no hdmi or usb integrated docks made for this phone.. all you can is run wires all over the place after you pick off the cover. starting to rethink fixing the gnex screen and passing on this phone.. i can live with 1 day battery life as long as my phone can easily charge in my car and at my desk in a dock like google pulled off for the gnex with the 3pin or apple with the dock on the bottom or even the arc s with the no cover usb.
Yep, it is a pain. We weren't fond of it on the Xperia X10 and we're not here either. It just gets in the way for the most part and is a pain to close!
I found the cover hard to close the first couple of times but it's quite easy now that it has loosened up. Think I like it after all.
I don't like this cover ether, so i remove it without break it so i can put it back. Not that nice but is more easy to use, mostly when you use a lot the phone and the battery can't stand all day. I'm thinking in open a hole in the cover to use the micro USB without open the cover. Yes the USB will charge.
