Recently got my Xperia Z2 and have been messing around setting it up how I like it. I was using the wallpaper tool you get from holding the screen and selecting an image and then using the default crop to set an image dimension but wasnt totally happy with it since you needed a picture with quite a bit of stuff around the outside you dont mind getting cropped off. The same thing happens when setting wallpaper using the album function but if you use Google+ you can have the wallpaper as it is shown without cropping. I thought great, can have it how I want now. After a while though the wallpaper seemed to zoom in by about 50% to what looks like the default zoom you get using the wallpaper function or when setting through albums. My question is if I can get it too set the wallpaper to the original size image why does it change and is there a way to stop it changing. I had a Galxy S2 and you could set any image size/zoom you wanted as wallpaper and also had the option of locking the wallpaper or having it move to the sides as you scrolled through screens. Is it possible to do this with the Xperia Z2? I will attach 2 screenshots showing the zoomed and the default image both set as wallpaper. Hope someone can help out with this as it is one of the very few things I am not liking about this phone.
