Those captured image true, but you do not expect!
For landscape and distant for unusual perspectives
The church of Sommacampagna (about 5 km) with Mount William (about 70 km above Lake Iseo) in the background, photographed from the street near the airport of Verona ..
Here's how a country can have hilly appearance "alpine" if there is the right perspective and far-sighted view!
The black dot that you notice on the Mount William should be the cross that is located on the summit .. I did not think it was visible that !!!

Here it is possible to photograph virtual landscapes using a telephoto zoom and digital zoom. This is not a photo montage, but simply an enlargement of a small shot of a couple of very distant subjects both from the point of capture that among themselves.
The picturesque small and old church is a great subject to make a typical alpine landscape, although this is a lot of distance from the snowy mountains.
The same position on the hill allows you compose from below the church and the mountains beyond.
Is not the only shot I did with this subject for this strange effect fooling who does not know these details!

Here is the church of San Rocco from other perspectives, but with other snowy peaks in the background:

With telephoto lenses and appropriate magnification you can find shots that normally are not seen or are simply not considered in order to get a nice picture (always a bit 'at the expense of quality being always still photos taken with smartphones, a good option to play with prospects!)

These are just some of the sample images from the many pictures made and magazines these days from my Xperia ..
Of course the variety is greater than it is perceived by these examples, so I invite you to go and visit the albums I have flagged with the links below each image to see how much you can achieve only with the smartphone.
You will also find some collage created using Pixlr application; watermarks have been inserted with the Add Watermark; I added the missing exif data (you read between the details of the individual pictures of the Google plus album) with the Pro Exif Editor application .. etc etc ..

... And if someone wanted to capture sunspots with the Xperia device?
    .. You can!

Z5c with telephoto lens X8 and X18 assembled together with a handicraft joint made of cardboard and Z1C with telephoto lens X6-X18

One of the capture results from Z5c

Do you want to take pictures of sunspots with your Xperia?
Here are my suggestions and my instructions

With a powerful telephoto at least 18 X (not too expensive, but also read the last sentences in the bottom of the post!), and the digital zoom on your Xperia, if weather conditions permit and there are quite large sunspots, you can do the capture from your Xperia!
    necessary conditions:

    • - Xperia, medium / high range (Having an optical compensation with lenses there are good chances that even a low-level Xperia can do the same catch, but I'm not sure)
    • - Telephoto X18 (I use universal ones for smartphones that are on the web). If you want to increase the quality, you can also try your hand in assembling a telephoto X8 as you can see from the picture, using a shaped piece of cardboard with tape specifically to pair of lenses)
    • - The clear sky, toward the horizon or behind a precise amount of haze or mist as a natural filter. In my catches, frequently it made from the window that faces west, I have to wait until the brightness of the sun is low enough to ensure that we see sunspots and not be a simple all-white ball, to avoid having to use filters on the lens ( I do not own).
    • - Over the arch of the right time during the sunset, also adequate patience to point the lens and focus properly, whereas with this magnification you will see sun move faster the frame!
    • - Finally, for the same problem very sharp movements, even the action of "click" will result in an obvious move on framing, so if you do not have a remote control, use the self-timer, even at only 2 seconds enough.
    • - Once you have made the photographs, you might find the dirty results. And 'normal, sopprattutto if the lenses are not properly cleaned! ... Not only, sometimes the spots are not clearly visible on the Sun .. what to do? Normally I use the Snapseed 2.0 filter to solve both problems, performing the necessary corrections you can dramatically improve the results!

Ok, ok, it's not all so 'simple, but not impossible if you are a lover of astronomy and does not have much money or proper tools to do certain kinds of photographs.
If you already have an Xperia, the telephoto lens from the X-18 you can buy under $ 50 / € and less than 20 if you also want to have the telephoto X 8 (instead the joint is a piece of cardboard and scotch tape, 0 cost!)

.. Finally, I hope that the translation of Google is sufficiently clear!

Image taken from the web relative to the presence of sunspots March 19, 2016 for the comparison from my photos
    (Http://www.attivitasolare.com/nowcasting-solare-19-marzo-2016/)

Of course the angle of the catch hardly coincides with these images (here shifted by about 90 °) because the observation point here is fixed, while in our sky running about a half turn during the day (it depends on several factors)

Below two catches yesterday related to sunspot 2524
    [IMG][IMG]

If you liked this and want to see also the other catches made with the Z1C and telephoto lens X6-X18 adjustable (not made to capture the spots on this occasion, but it would still have been possible with digital zoom to the max!), here's more photos: 2016-03-19-CaluriTramonto
    More Images of March 19, 2016: 2016-03-19-Pozzolo

But there is still something wrong!
Unfortunately I have not found (probably no) media or cover adapted to couple quickly and in the best of the telephoto lenses ways that now seem to have the same fillet to be screwed on the supports.
Not always universal ones that come along with the lenses are easy to assemble on the Xperia.
Sometimes they cover the keys, or you can not hold the lens in place, and that's what helped me with tweezers to keep firmly attached to the objective lens, as well as a bit 'more firm.
In Z1C I had to apply a thickness on the support (with scotch tape) not to press the volume keys, but at least now it works ..
Being on the cutting edge Sony camera catches (not always with smartphones though!) Are still surprised to see a few suitable accessory to these portable devices often praised because of their photos ...
Sony, I still expect to see a acessori dedicated line increases the prospects of easier dui catch what they can do iphone or samsung users ...

I show you some of the recent catches, all performed with Xperia Z5c and processed with Snapseed 2.0 to give the best in black and white.
Do it a shot in black and white you can already among the various alternative functions of Xperia camera, but the result is not always what expected or wanted.
Through a bit processing with the filters always available from your smartphone using the apk Snapseed 2.0 you can create a very playful images.
In these examples, some effects and perspectives are also due to the help of universal telephoto lenses that I use often to propose new and atypical prospects for a normal smarpthone
Of course it is also necessary to have the right person, and care the frame and a firm hand (or a tripod), always indispensable foundation for achieving the pleasant shots

As you can see, without claiming the quality of professional cameras, the results are still very good considering that you use non-dedicated tools.
Just having some time to process the images, those already adapted to monochromatic transformation and will also remain satisfied with your Xperia

Since I "created" the superzoom telephoto, I began to experiment in attempting the risky astronomical catches, as if it were a rudimentary pocket telescope, but it turned out to be quite good for large parties and bright as the moon and sun to allow images with lunar craters or sunspots quite defined.
Additional hazards, I have granted them by trying to focus the planets, by exploiting the digital magnification of smarpthone. The results are far less sooddisfacenti and more difficult to get, but still something good considering the tools available.
Jupiter and Venus were the first planets that I photographed with Xperia Z1C
I recently repeated a catch to Jupiter
    15 may 2016
    [IMG]

    23 and 24 may 2016
    [IMG]

and I made it a brand to Mars, just a few days ago while he was particularly favorable for visibility , in these last cases, using the Z5c:

At this point I would like to dare a photograph to the international space station and I investigated what to do.
First, how do I identify it?
It was not difficult, on this site is possible know when is visible from our observation point:
    http://www.n2yo.com/space-station/
    Using the function
    10-day prediction ISS passes
you can know all the details useful relative to its path and to its visibility (obviously better when the sky is very clean) .. for me yesterday there was this fit condition:
But here lies the first problem: the international space station is very fast and it would be too difficult to keep the scope with a zoom lens so high, what we find even with the only planets that are much slower showing only the Earth's rotation.
I do not have automatic and adjustable mechanisms that would allow me a perfect capture, it would take only a lot of luck!

    So?

I changed my strategy and I thought it would be much more plausible and easy groped to capture his journey, tracing the trail with a long exposure.
However, having available more and more accessories Xperia I are organized to best prepare the Z5c for the long exposure, one Z1c predisposed for a time lapse on the display while Z5c performs the long exposure (to have another type of capture, but only for the final minutes), and finally one Z1c with telephoto X18 to evaluate some attempt pointing (not been successful as expected)

    And here are the results:
    - Z5c, Long Exposure Camera 2 (light trace mode) 2546 sec. (42 minuts 26 seconds):
Starting at a little after 22:07, waiting for the first sighting expected around 22:49, in the meantime it's been several things in the frame more or less identified:
    - Starting from the left you see the passage of the bird, I assume a turtledove, which passed very close to stay inscribed in the image illuminated by the light from the window, add value to the capture!
    - Below the short and continuous strip, about half image is Jupiter;
    - The other image in the middle evident and continues making an acute angle with Jupiter is the ISS is seen approaching from below (west southwest, at center low of the capture) to the other (east northeast);
    - Almost parallel to Jupiter, the other dotted lines, are planes that flash more or less frequent and light according to their distance or altitude in the sky;
    - The clear line in the corner is another plane, or maybe more, in landing, very close.
    - At the top right there is a strange very little light following a short horizontal line that would assume a shooting star, perhaps even a small fireball (experiences in the past have made me realize that the normal shooting stars do not see with this technique and the smartphone)
    - Finally, the bright spots on the lower left are the leaves of the tree in front of the house.

The time lapse, very quickly, only 7 seconds of which only the last useful to the tracks was thus:

but I had to sell the vision of this long exposure easier by stealing a few frames (the most interesting of them) and obtaining a simple animated picture:
    The other catch here:
    2016-05-28-CaluriISS

    Did you like the idea?
Of course if you own more suited to the capture tools, they are smarpthone, everything will not be interesting.
In the meantime, I can say I "photographed" some planet and also the ISS with my smartphone ..
    .. weird right?

This is not one of those videos that you seek on YT, but simply one of my usual prospective experiments maximizing about smartphone capabilities, compatible accessories (telephoto superzoom X18 + X8 for a high magnification), all reviewed with a apk for final editing (cropping, music and text, but the latter in Italian).

With the exception of the incredible foreground while the Sun goes down in a couple of little distant chimneys, in the first seconds you may also notice a few sunspots, the 2585 top left of the Sun, but they are not the only special .. . after a few seconds, on the left you see a small plane in its prospective route passes the sunspot.

Nothing exceptional from a qualitative point of view of the image, but in any case we are talking of a smartphone with dedicated accessories and this makes it particularly catching whereas the plane is located some 50 km (30 miles) away, not to say the distance of sunspots. All this in the right place at the right time to see these distant subjects touching ..
..not me will never happen again !!!

Plane on sunspot 2585 (only version made with smartphone)

    Place: Villafranca di Verona (Italy)
    Date: 2 september 2016
    Device: Sony Xperia Z5c
    Apk: video Xperia
Edit: resize, cut, text, music (VivaVideo)
    Lens: SuperZoom (Telephoto X8 +X18)

    SuperMoon November 2016
This astronomical event, quite frequent, but not as in this case, when the Moon, during its orbit, reaches the perigee (closest distance to the earth) and at the same time is also full.

On this occasion reaches 14% more apparent size, in addition to a 30% more brightness, an opportunity to try to obtain the best some of the star shutter, even with the Xperia.

Among photos, time lapse and video editing I'm a little 'fun using the Xperia S at the same time (Time Lapse), the Xperia Z1C (pictures of Xperia) and the Xperia Z5c (close of the Moon photos with telephoto superzoom X8 + X18)
    [IMG] [IMG]
As you can see from some pictures, often there were clouds to cover the sky, it also evidenced by the video, but sometimes the sky was released to catch the lunar features to its maximum

... And finally here it is in all its splendor in one of the best shots using only dedicated accessories for smartphones, in this case the Z5c with telephoto double (SuperZoom X8 + X18):

you have impressive album . I choose to move away from smart phones photography with all its availability advantage. I have a compact A5100 used Sony with a few lenses which give me fantastic results compared to your photos and low light too. first Sony's z series did not create outstanding photos . once you carry so many accessories for a cell phone , than why not a proper camera ? I do not know if Sony lens attachment worked nicely for cell photography and if they farther developed it. I use my Sony z5 for a casual taking photos

    Thank you magnum. :)

Take advantage in your intercession (I am hoping that google translator does well his duty) for
summarize and explain better what I'm doing in this thread

I have never been a photographer and I never studied to be, I approached the right photograph because a new opportunity allowed by smarthpone increasingly also evolved in this sector.

I never had the money to devote just to take pictures, but to devote to smartphone use for many other things, yes.

Over time, I hold my old smartphones ever to maintain a better chance of making new types of shots (and videos) simultaneously (normal shots, time lapse, long exposure etc) and with the increase of interesting applications and accessories available at the game it has become much more interesting and fun for me.

Taking pictures with smartphone is a game.
To looking for technically beautiful catches, need a real camera with a large enough optical sensor that on normal smartphones are not there.

But I think also that smartphones that can do only what they offer without using accessories, is boring.

Multiply the prospects making use of accessories, external lenses and applications, remaining with minimal fees, can be a good game, but nothing (today) will never cover up the shortcomings of the little light that can collect small sensors of the smartphone and many megapixels do not serve if the sensor maintains its dimensions and physical characteristics with the native optical sensitivity of its components with which it is built

With this discussion, I propose possible solutions using little money by extending the capabilities of smartphones in general (all accessories are universal!) without the need to buy cameras and doversele carry with them each time with all the baggage of accessories, often costly and cumbersome.

Even though we are few, not all are really only interested in making technically good photos (..and selfies ..).
For example, for business purposes (not professional photographers, other professions)someone asked me how to make decent macro with your smartphone without having to use an expensive camera. But if people knew more perhaps some accessories would other types of photos, even for the only personal satisfaction knowing that these are cheap, lightweight and can stay in your pocket ...

If anyone wants photos serious and beautiful, now he must to spend money except for a few cases where lighting conditions allow catches of a certain level and in any case there is a certain skill of the photographer into what are the basics of photography (subject, situation, atmosphere, shot, steady hand etc)

So, to who can affect everything these?
The list may be longer than you think, because the combinations of outcomes are numerous and can touch the interests of various kinds .. just know, where and how to apply certain results if, but, in doing so, with the fun!

Starry sky, more stars with Snapseed!
    (using Z5c)

    Hello everyone!
I made a short video with examples of how through the use of some of Snapseed filters, you can highlight a few stars in a night catch, which in the original pictures are not visible.
To accomplish this you sacrifice the rest of the image and must be practicing an unusual procedure and unprofessional, but for those interested in astronomy and had no other means is a free compromise that can be tried by anyone.
Ambiance, contrast, shadow are the main options that are set moderately, but more times in a row to highlight invisible stars in the capture .. with a little 'of evidence obtained interesting images!
The video is described completely in Italian, but it is quite intuitive what are the results obtained with Snapseed.

    Example:
Without filters (A Better Camnera Night Option)

The same images after filtering with Snapseed

This version with the addition of the names of the stars and constellations, using Pixlr

In the video you can see 7 shots with the sequence of the original picture until that changed, to highlight differences

You can activate the YT subtitles with automatic translation to get some information from texts written in the video

Youi can see the other pictures in this album:

After the "starry sky", here is another experiment, repeated after a couple of years in the same "starry sky" mode, but with some minor differences:
Z1C> Z5c; another similar telephoto, again for smartphones, always with 18 X magnification (with a bit of digital zoom); the application always capture A Better Camera Unlocked (Night Option); the editing, even with Snapseed, and numerous filter operations....

Here, too, I point out the evolution that can get an astronomical catch after a bit of work in post-production, preview in this animation:
All classifications of the individual stars (also added here with Pixlr check with Mobile Observatory) show how the stars are almost quadrupled compared to the original shot, from the first processing:

The real size of original photos start from
    5520 x 4128 pixel (A Better Camera)
    to 5171 x 3827 pixel (Snapseed)
    to 2047 x 1530 pixel (G +)

Here you can see the every single image resized to 2047 pixels for G +, but enough to enjoy useful details:
original photo (Apk: A Better Camera Unlocked, Night Option; Telephoto X 18)
first elaboration (Snapseed 2.0 with calibration filter for 4 times)
second elaboration (4 more times Snapseed..)
third elaboration (4 more times Snapseed..)
Priority to each calibration step with Snapseed, it keeps the black and avoid the noise appearance that usual routes if you overdo it with the filters. To do this we need to be light throughout, but run it several times.
Nomenclature of stars (Pixlr for insert texts and Mobile Observatory for individuations every stars)

Finally, on this occasion I assembled the images into a video for a better idea and inserting some explanations (in Italian: try to turn on the subtitles with automatic translation to read)
In the video also contains images of the first experiments, a couple of years ago, to better understand the evolution of the procedure

In this post I show a couple of video made entirely with the Xperia.

Videos, photos, time lapse, close-ups, using Xperia X10, S, Z1c and Z5c with some accessories, some applications, a little patience and even luck.
The main subject is a mausoleum of an ossuary that stands on a hill about six kilometers from my house, and every six months, joins prospectively with the Sun setting, forming a suggestive image...
    like this :)

First video that contains some photos and video pieces of the same day that the conjunction took place
    Tramonto dietro l'Ossario di Custoza
(Sunset behind the ossuary of Custoza)

    March 2017
In this version, it succeeded by the time lapse of several days and you can watch the sun go down increasingly northwest, day after day ...
    Tramonto dietro l'Ossario .. e non solo ...
(Sunset behind the ossuary .. and not only ..)

    Good vision
