New Xperia and new experimental catches.
A few days ago I have the new Sony jewel, Xperia XZ1 compact, personally an upgrade from the Z5 compact.
The camera, in addition to having a more advanced sensor (IMX300> IMX 400), with larger pixels, although in smaller numbers, has a SW with manual controls that are present only from the X series.
In particular, the ability to manage the aperture of the lens up to a second, in addition to ISO 3200, allows me to perform significant night shots that I had to do only with alternative apk (A Better Camera Night option).

Well, apart from the super moon of 3/4 December, with which it was certainly not necessary to use night mode, yesterday (5 December 2017) from a famous beach on Lake Garda, on the tip of the peninsula of Sirmione, also near thermal areas where the water is always steaming, I have ventured into several very striking nocturnal shots between panorama and sunrise of the Moon on the lake.

In addition to the use of the tripod, indispensable in these dark conditions, some photos were made with telephoto lenses. All images were subsequently reviewed with Snapseed, as usual, to finish the final result, as always all through smartphone, all with Xperia XZ1 compact ...

    NIGHT CATCHES
    (1 sec- ISO 3200)

Without telehphoto, you can also see the Pleiades well

    Today I finally tried
    Slow Motion 960 fps video
    with Xperia XZ1 compact.
I made this video, first experimental test, also integrating some photos.

    New.
Between daytime photos, night photos, slow motion (Xperia XZ1c) and time lapse (Xperia S), December 16th was a good day of interesting catches, which in the future will become a single video, also thanks to the location, weather and other things.
For now I leave here some interesting and pleasant to see.

I remember that every photo is not original, it has been edited with Snapseed and resized for G +

Meanwhile, here are some pictures taken from the album on G +From the album

    WHAT?... Xperia S?

.. yes, it's working to make a time lapse from morning to sunset!
For this collage I used the Pixlr application

... well.. and the time lapse with Xperia S?

..using Lapse It Pro (Vived color mode)

    .. and the nightly photos?
I tried again some shot in manual mode with ISO 3200 and time 1 second , then, as in all my photos, I used the filters of snapseed, in order to make the stars not visible ..
    AGAIN WOW!

At this point, with the Peiades so small, but shining in the sky, I wanted a new test with the telephoto, for the first time with Xperia XZ1c
    [IMG]
    OMG!

A collage shows some images before and after using Snapseed

    .. but still it's not all ..
I told myself, why not try a long one-minute show with the telephoto X18 still on the Pleiades?
    Will a trivial result come?
Well, yes indeed, but a stroke of luck made that in those 60 seconds passed a micrometeora and left his faint trace

    OH Sh..
.. you can see the other photos in this album

Xperia CAM Steady shot, maybe anytime it's better then OIS?
If you look at this video (activate the subtitles and the translation), you will understand better why I have this doubt.

At the same time, I testify that even an Xperia (XZ1c in this case) with smartphone accessories (two universal telephoto lenses for smartphones X8 ex 18, assembled in series, as I usually do for other types of astronomical captures) can take pictures of Jupiter's satellites !

For me an unexpected and almost crazy result considering the unsuitable tools, but maybe it was just a matter of having the risky idea of trying it without expecting to get results.
Perhaps this is the first time in the world that someone has tried to photograph non-terrestrial satellites with smartphone and smartphone accessories (no telescope, no binoculars)

Who knows, maybe yes or maybe not.
From today I am still certain that I can too
without telescope, without binoculars only with Xperia and two telephoto for smartphone!
