Hi, i had a question about gsm unlocking. A GSM Unlocked Phone, will be able to connect to a 4G network of other carrier? My question is because, i want to by the Xperia play 4g unlocked from ebay, but, they have this comment: This item is brand new with original accessories and original packaging. Not refurbished or reconditioned. Opened only to unlock GSM network. Item is quad-band and is branded at&t but has been unlocked to use any GSM sim carrier worldwide. This phone is best suited for at&t customers. Other carriers will not provide the 4G capability but all other functions will work. (calling, texting, internet, etc) Is the cellphone is GSM only unlocked? sorry my english is not good. Thanks for your time. Regards, Randol
The Xperia PLAY 4G was an AT&T exclusive and is only compatible with the company's 21MBps 4G network. You won't be able to use this on other 4G networks. You should be able to use this on other 3G networks out there.
