I am having problems in focusing in the night time! And I guess every phone has it. So is this a software problem or a hardware one?? Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk
Seems like a known issue for many! At the moment, it's not clear whether it's related to software or hardware, but ICS will have the answer for that .
Hopeless grainy shots in even slightly low light. Very embarrassing and a real killjoy....The camera was one of my biggest reasons for buying the xperia and now I'm regretting not getting the lumia. Really hope these things get sorted out with ICS although I wouldn't be surprised if its a hardware issue
Do you really know how to take photos in low light? Check these photos I took with this same phone... If you know how to use the settings provided, then you have a great camera in your hand.
The photos are taking a while to load. But I have to admit, that I haven't tinkered around too much with the settings because there doesn't seem to be much you can do. But would be great if you can guide me a bit LiveSq Thanks!
These are pretty good. Mine turn out really grainy even in half decent light. What do you think I should do?
Play with the camera app and it's settings. Try each one of them and learn and understand what suits that particular situation. Nothing much I can teach here. The settings available in XS isn't that much, but again, the other phones don't even have any!
i upgraded my XS to ICS, but still the camera shots is quite annoying..if you zoom the pictures theres lot of tinted yellow, and focusing is very poor.. almost pictures is not clear comparing to my k800i, much clearer and detailed compare to XS 12mp.. Sony should solves this problem to all XS users... If this is for software problem please release any for the camera enhancements, 12mp is totally crap on this phone if no solutions be made..
Agreed. I've tried very hard to play with the white balancing and the other scene modes but the image quality is consistently poor in great light and deplorable in low light. Real disappointment.
Just follow my guideline 1 just keep everything auto when there is sufficient light 2 if average light then return from auto scene to normal mode, turn off flash and use multi focus. 3 Now the hardest part In complete darkness.... - Turn to normal mode - Use party scene(this will help to avoid yellowish spread) - Use multifocus Thats it.......!!!!!! Don't disappoint with camera.... Thr XS camera is really amazing....only u have to configure it that suit u best. Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2
when i am taking a pic in low light and it wont focus, i turn the camera towards the light and let it focus on that then turn it back to what ever i want to take a picture of, i might have to do this more once though. havent really taking as much pics with s as i did with arc
What about using multifocus and default camera button key?????? I use default camere button(Just hold on first press, let it focus then deep press) Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2
