Hello, I have two questions regarding security patches and the battery for the Xperia X Compact: I possess the smartphone since August this year and it was delivered with Android 7.1.1. It has Vodafone branding and I am living in Germany, Cologne to be exact. Security patch level is 1. September 2017. i.e. it is not updated as of now. Will this smartphone get the regular security patches that apparently Sony distributes almost every month? Neither Vodafone support nor the SonyMobile support could answer this question, the only info Sony gave was that it will get Android 8 which is nice but not my major focus as I normally would expect that these days security fixes are available for smartphones as well. Can somebody please advise with respect to the branding and / or Country? The other thing is that the battery lasts only for about 3 days (after fresh reboot) and goes down to about 2 days after running for some weeks. The battery monitor does not give infos about an app that uses extensive resources and I do not use the smartphone so very often, most of the time (ca. 95% of the day) it is in idle. My old Xperia Z1 Compact latet with the same set of apps and usage for about 5 days. Is this a normal behaviour of todays Xperias or the X Compact, can it be due to the branding or what might be the reason? These two things make the use of the Xperia somewhat disappointing... Looking forward to your answers. regards, Udo
