    Hi There.

I am planning on updating my Galaxy S3 to the Xperia Z. But i have heard of a software updates that improved some features of the phone.

    1. What or where can i find the official change log or update information for the Xperia Z? What are the improvements? Confusing there is this "253", "307", etc. updates.

    2. Is the Xperia Z DC-HSDPA & LTE-ready/capable? (This is the UK/EU version)

    3. Does the latest update improve some aspects of the loudspeaker (being weak and soft when i went in-stores and on various reviews & videos i've seen)) and the volume when headphones are connected?. Camera also hasn't been that sharp on the 13MP. (With a Sony phone...why?!)

And any improvements to the general sound & audio settings (and EQ) on the Walkman player?

    Please advice.

I have tried to find an official complete changelog too. Especially for this latest 4.2.2 update. No luck so far. I will let you know if I ever bumb into one.

It would be enourmously nice to see all the improvements on a glimpse from a single sheet.

I got my xz from the very beginning of release, never regretting my purchase. All updates have made this sophisticated device even better. I know this doesnt really answer your questions and is merely my opnion, but I just had to say it out loud.

Ok. But how about the issues of:

    1. Muffled speakers sound?
    2. Weak & tiny audio when headphones are connected?
    3. Poor camera shots
    4. Mediocre battery life

    Any comments on these?

I am running currently 10.1.1.A.1.253 build.

    1. Main loudspeaker (one for music, ringtones etc.) sounds a little stronger than before. Not sure if I am imagining though. Speaker for voice calls have remained pretty much the same, no complaints there to start with in my opinion. These are waterproof speakers, so it might have something to do with performance compared to non waterproof ones.

    2. Never tried regular headphones. Using my sbh20, and I find the sound quality really nice.

    3. Camera... I would expect better quality, but sadly there is quite lot of noice in low light shots. Camera have been getting better by each update, but in my opinion there is room for improvements still.

    4. I have had no issues with my xz battery. I am not noticed any big changes in it by updates. I can use xz easily through a day with single charge (I always charge before battery gets below 20%). I am not a heavy user of any social media etc. Mainly some browsing and Whatsapping. When I do some gaming, I would like to have little bit more runtime. For example, playing one hour online multiplayer "Pocket Fleet" consumes around 30% of battery.

Hope these opinions provide some help.
