Hi everyone I've had my new Xperia Z for about a fortnight now. In that time, the handset has already completely frozen twice. The first time I had to allow the handset to go completely flat and then charge and restart for it to begin working again. Today it has happened again. During normal usage (reading a text message) the screen jumped to the login screen and then froze. After an attempt to log in, the screen then went black and refuses to do anything now, including turn off of on with the main power button. I think I've tried all of the usual tricks to get it working again, i.e. restarting, leaving it alone etc, but I really need to access my phone for work asap. It's probably going to be hours before it goes flat. Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any advice for getting it working again, without me having to return the handset to the shop please? Many thanks
How weird... I've never had any problem whatsoever with my device. It's been really solid so far and I don't think it'll give me any problems in the future. Best bet for you would be to do a factory reset and see if that clears it up for you!
I’m facing the exact same issue… the device completely froze and the soft reset was doing no good at all.. dint work… my phone froze with the flash on and at 5% battery level so i guess i was lucky that the battery drained out completely in about half n hour… iv had this device for a week now and this is the first time this has happened.
try the hard reset, when charging phone hold the volume up button and the on button at same time ,it worked on mine .hope works for you to
My apology, I'm really off topic in this forum. But I really need help, my Xperia Z is having a problem : whenever I tried to make video recording - it stopped and then posted on screen "error unknown" - I really don't have any clue on what's the problem with this. Please can anyone HELP ME? ....thanks!
exactly i am also facing the same problem plz advice how to solve this issue as my phone is not responding since last one hour this thing happened twice with me last it came operational in half an hour but today after one hour it is totally freeze, not responding at all please help me out as i want to use my phone for making phone calls to some people please help me out many thanks
