Sorry if already answered but cannot find relevant thread. Have new Z1 Compact running Jelly Bean (no option to upgrade right now) Have copied data from old Blackberry. Now noticed that notification light is not working even though option switched on for emails. I did see a post on you tube suggesting related to data backup option and needed to reset to factory preset but don't want to loose all the setting up I have done with email accounts etc. Any suggestions please??
Did you notice the light working before data transfer? Is your battery stamina mode on - sometimes this affects notifications?
To be honest I did not notice. I synced with my old phone pretty quickly before I noticed the light not working. Stamina mode is not on.
Two option for that, 1. Your lights are not working, check by dialling *#*#service#*#* (ie *#*#7378423#*#*) 2. You might turn off the notification. goto settings and turn the notification indication on
