Sony Ericsson LiveView now on sale in USThe Sony Ericsson LiveView is quite a nifty concept, acting as a Bluetooth micro-display for your mobile so that you can keep an eye on messages, screen calls, check twitter/facebook statuses etc. It has taken a while, but the LiveView is now in sale in the US with Amazon.com selling the accessory for around $85 including shipping.

The LiveView recently saw an update that ironed out some of the bugs and connectivity issues. However, if you’re not ready to splash the cash right now, then you may find Phandroid’s post interesting as it says Sony Ericsson is working on a new sleeker version…

This is stupid!!! How do you expect it to work in the U.S. if we are still running 1.6 through At&t?!!

Your comment is amusing, and exactly what I was thinking when I saw this post. Either 2.1 is coming to the US soon, or they are marketing to OTHER devices running 2.1+, since it is theoretically compatible with them as well…if I remember correctly. I am actually a little shocked that the US is still so far behind in terms of this update. My phone (Rogers Branded in Canada) was updated in December.
