The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc is one of the best imaging phone devices on the market right now thanks to its 8.1MP Exmor R camera sensor. We’ve been impressed by both the quality and speed of photos taken across a number of conditions, unfortunately we cannot extend the same praise to its video recording efforts.
After numerous tests and trying various memory cards of different speeds, there seems to be consistent problems whether it be stuttering/freezing and even audio sync problems. The problem is most apparent when video recording in 720p HD. We know that SE is aware of this problem and many users are complaining judging by this thread. The Xperia arc is being marketed for its image quality so the quicker this gets fixed the better.
