Despite having a marginally bigger screen over the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini products, the next-generation Xperia mini’s will still not feature any form of multitouich. Sony Ericsson confirmed this in a comment in one of the videos promoting the handset.
Whether this is a big deal for people or not is open to question, especially considering whether the fact that multitouch is useful on a 3-inch display. Personally, we think SE could have at least given the choice to the consumer, but on the flip side, this may have only served to raise the price.
Update: Judging by the feedback from the comments, it looks like evidence points to the Xperia mini does have multitouch after all.
