Xperia ray unboxingThe 3.3-inch Sony Ericsson Xperia ray is due to launch in the next few weeks and SE-First recently posted an unboxing video to show us what’s inside. The handset can be thought of a smaller version of the Xperia arc, combining most of the features of its larger brother but sacrificing only the HDMI port.

The handset will be available in four colours and three of these are shown in the video (all but the gold version). The black Xperia ray has a matte finish, whilst the white and pink models come with a glossy finish. Check out the video for yourself after the break.

Best Xperia handset since the Xperia series began in 2008 !

Is this phone gonna be below the Xperia mini pro in the line-up or above it???

Of course it’s going to be above it! This phone is as good as the Arc and even better except it’s smaller and lack an HDMI port.

The ray will have a better battery life and sharper looking screen due to it’s size + the material used in the phone is way better than the Arc and finally don’t forget that it beats the Arc with it’s price and having a front facing camera.

The rest of the specifications I believe are a tie!

  • well said very true

  • Wait I thought the new xperia line came with the Livesound headphones. The ones here look worse than the ones we got with the previous xperia range…?
