Xperia AX will come in Turquoise in addition to Black, Pink & White colours

in Xperia - Japan Models, Xperia V

The Sony Xperia AX (SO-01E/SOL21) is the Japanese equivalent of the Sony Xperia V (LT25i). As well as getting some Japanese-specific features, the Xperia AX will also launch in an additional colour compared to the Black, Pink and White variants of the Xperia V. The Sony Xperia AX gets a lovely looking Turquoise colour SKU that leaves us a little jealous on the western front. This is confirmed via a leaked brochure snapshot, which also gives a glimpse of the official specs.

That seriously looks way too good. Shame the international market has little interest in those colours) which is why Sony won’t release them internationally.

i don’t think the international market has little interest. i think more colours would do Sony good. why do you think we buy accessories for our phones. Especially different coloured cases and battery covers. the turquoise colour looks much better in the product catalogue than in real life

  • Sami

why do Japan always get the cool things and we don┬┤t :( :(

  • Al Nelson

Very nice! Who said smart phones can not come in colors other than “Black”

  • DoucheyTuesday

even less masculine than the pink lol

  • LUFC_MOT

I guess there’s no accounting for taste … i personally think it’s awful.

  • sfordesign

this is their business culture. they leave the best for their own people

In before Nokia shills see this article.

  • jag

the turquoise looks so good in the brochure… @.@

  • Coollead

This is a “with” series phone, so it’s 99% likely the “lower” end Xperia and we’re yet to see what the higher end “Next” series phone will be. The rumor going around the block is that it’ll be the Xperia Nexus…

  • Almighty

    wtf ?! i want a 16GB variaton with a turquiose color !

  • jxPerience

why not all white? all pink? all turquoise? why the front is always black? who the hell made that idea? if i want white i want everything including the front in white color not only the backside of the phone. Sony whats wrong? you’re obviously following HTC! All their phones has black front and different back colors. Next time i want to see pure white like Xperia X10, Xperia Neo V, Xperia Mini, Xperie Mini Pro. Pure silver like Xperia Pro, Xperia Neo/Neo V, I dont like the combination of black front panel and and white back side its not so white!

  • jxPerience

    Because SONY is from JAPAN.

  • jxPerience

excited? the difference is only the back side ask your friend to buy white and then you buy blue next day swap each back side and you will have the white and your friend will have the blue. Why dont SONY just sell back covers to differentiate colors!

  • goldenblls

I know the colours aren’t for everyone but still, it would be nice to have the choice.

  • FlowXT

Might only be 3 days until we know, Docomo is unveiling new line up on the 11th.

    AX Design Looks so Diffrenter

  • Coollead

I doubt they’ll announce anything before Google does. If I recall correctly, the Galaxy Nexus was announced separately from everything else for last winter.

  • DoucheyTuesday

oh yeh thumb down old douchey..cheers xblog readers!

  • Nezar

the xperia V is coming in about two months from now with android ICS while the samsung galaxy Note II is already out with JB. How sad…

  • JDM

black front makes the images look sharper and brighter. Sony learned this trick a while ago with their piano finish bravia LCD/LED tvs

  • Tommy

I believe it’s the buttons on the side of the phone that has colours as well

  • rickiking

i want a blue phone! waaaah!

  • jxPerience

well that thing isnt cool! They should create new tech that front panel color will not affect the sharpness and brightness of the display!
