Xperia SP and Xperia L listed by UK retailers; release imminent?

I was waiting for SP announcement in Barcelona…well we all know that never happened. getting Xperia Z black this Monday, I really think it’s the best option anyway.

I like the codenames more, S, for example, is Nozomi, T is Mint, and Z is Yuga. Xperia Nozomi, Mint, Yuga sounds much better then S, T, or Z

I think XP has a better screen (smaller size but higher resolution and dpi + whitemagic) but XL has better processor and camera (snapdragon S4 plus and exmor RS).

I want Sony to name the devices like Xperia Alpha, Xperia Prime and etc.

Will do. Want to see how XZ’s screen quality fairs against my XP [ whitemagic ] . Yes I know these panels are different in size and resolution. Unfortunately I have unlocked bootloader on my P not knowing about Bravia Engine dissapearing forever from my device, therefore comparison is even more limited. Fact is I really like XP screen, Great mid-range phone, just need speed now and that’s where Z comes into play. Will keep XP for a backup tho

For the last few days, we have been hearing some speculations around the internet that the rest of the 2012 xperias….(specifically xperia tipo) is getting updated tp android 4.1. is there any truth in this???

I`ll do the same step next week. I preordered a Xperia Z, though I love my P. But with 4.0 it became so slow. You can`t set about every second live wallpaper from the play store and scroll fluent anymore.

Why won’t Sony officially announce these phones already? Keeping it as a surprise? Last time I remember the Xperia V’s announcement was really a surprise. No one expected it. Unfortunately, it’s hype died quickly because of the SOD issue. I hope none of this crap happens to the SP ‘coz I really like this phone. The guy who sent in a side by side picture of the SP beside a V shouldn’t have done it. It seemed like he was jinxing the SP with the V. Please, NO.

Xperia V wasn’t really sudden, we knew the specs when it announced at IFA and sort of knew which quater to expect it’s release. But these phones, not even an official word from sony yet. Are these sources reliable?
