Sony has kept a very tight lid on leaks recently, although what we do know at this stage is that a Xperia Z1 refresh (aka Z1s) and Xperia Z1 mini are very likely to make an appearance at CES 2014 in January. AnTuTu benchmarks of both devices have appeared showing that they won’t be short of power.
The Xperia Z1s scored 35,485 in a leak showing the top half of the handset, consistent with recent leaks of the device (headphone off centre, one port flap on the left side and front camera placement). The Xperia Z1 mini scored 34,193, which was previously confirmed with model number D5503. Good scores for both handsets, but given these scores have probably been achieved with pre-production firmware, they scores are likely to be even better on release.
Xperia Z1S AnTuTu benchmark score of 35,485
Xperia Z1 mini AnTuTu benchmark score of 34,193
