Xperia T and Xperia V Android 4.3 firmware certified with build 9.2.A.0.276

by XB on 30th December 2013

in Android, Firmware, Xperia T, Xperia V

Xperia T_9.2.A.0.276Two more Sony handsets have just seen their Android 4.3 firmware updates certified through the PTCRB website. Both the Sony Xperia T (LT30p, LT30a) and Xperia V (LT25i) have been certified with firmware build number 9.2.A.0.276. This moves the build version from 9.1.A.1.145 to 9.2.A.0.276.

The significant movement from 9.1.A.X.XXX to 9.2.A.X.XXX highlights that this is very much likely to be the Android 4.3 firmware update. Whilst it won’t land in 2013, expect it to appear by the middle of January 2014. The Android 4.3 update for the Xperia TX (LT29i) hasn’t appeared on the PTCRB website right now, but it can’t be far behind.

Thanks DIMEX, Micha?, Piotr and Silas!

What the hell where is my update of xperia z c6602 in pakistan

  • supermax

this frimware will be realse a week later

  • Now the question is: When Sony will roll out certified on 23.12.2013 firmware for SP and certified today update for T & V, tomorrow (cuz it’s last day of december) or next week? And another question – where is certified firmware for TX?

  • Jerry Berglund

At last. Sad it didnt come this year though. Instead of releasing the premium phones first, they release the low end and middle end. But ok, Its on its way.

  • well, firmware for SP was certified on 23th dec. and not rolled out yet, so i think tomorrow Sony will roll out both firmware updates for SP and T & V

  • zzzzz

Sorry to be off topic but I have a question. I just bought my Xperia Z1 (yay!) the other day and after charging it I downloaded apps then I upgraded it to 4.3 jellybean. After the update my battery was down to 25%. The problem is that happened 6 hours ago but my phone just hit 24% right now. Is there something wrong with the estimate of the battery or was the battery life just dramatically improved?

  • laci_csk

    maybe in afganistan LOL

  • mark thomas

i dont know why yur facts and information is not correct but i would appreciate if you would only reply to my posts with factual information….The LT30at launched with ice cream sando but was updated to JB in march….Im only curious if my model will get it and why didnt my model get certification when the t did

  • dmagnetic873

xperia s is 2012 model 12 megapixel camera 32 GB storage and very nice phone

  • Mint

6 months since 4.3 was released, not 6 months since the last update…

  • mark thomas

its pretty simple guys…..if you want a device that is constantly updated with the latest, you dont need an Xperia of any kind…..You want a Google Nexus 5….all other devices are just speculative and wishfull thinking….

  • domiboy7

Just do what I do I also have the TL, but as soon as it’s released for the T image flash the generic ftf and exclude the baseband to keep my Late while still having the newest version of android, along with no Att bloatware

  • domiboy7

Standby time is amazing for xperia phones

  • Mint

You didn’t answer my question. Xperia T is also a 2012 model with a 13mp camera and even though it has 16 GB internal memory it also has a memory card slot unlike the S. It also has a better prossesor, bigger screen ect ect. So how is Xperia S better?

  • Moh@mmad Amin

Sony Updated all Phones same as these

  • HeHe

    Or an iPhone…

  • domiboy7

Just flash the T ftf file once it’s out using flashtool that’s what I always do

  • dmagnetic873

    when xperia s get 4.3 ?

  • Mint

    Uh, I don’t get what you’re trying to say…..

  • mark thomas

dude…do me a favor…tell me where in the link does it mention anything about a frign Xperia S getting an update……Quit trolling and gtfoh

  • niek

Xperia Tablet Z Wifi doesn’t have PTCRB certification because it’s a Wifi device and PTCRB cares about GSM/HSPA/LTE

  • [A]dri[A]n

The Xperia S is only better as far as internal storage goes. The T is better in every other way. Also the T has the SD slot that the S doesn’t. So no, the Xperia S is NOT better than the Xperia T. The Xperia S is also older.

  • Guest

I Mean Sony Update All the Phones to 4.3 at the same time or same month

  • dmagnetic873

dude soon xperia s will get new version 4.2 or 4.3

  • [A]dri[A]n

The difference is that the TL has to go through AT&T. So I wouldn’t bet on the TL getting the update. Even though there is absolutely NO reason for it not to get it.

  • mato

you are a stupid idiot do you know it?

  • dmagnetic873

    fuck you bitch

  • Guest

    Xperia s <3 fuck haters

  • james hetfield

xperia s has 4.1.2 why not get 4.3?

  • mark thomas

Honestly, im only here until there is confirmation for an update to MY device….i believe that is the reason most of you are hear…you only care that your device is up to par….I know one thing, if the Xperia TL does not get the update and the T does, this will definetly be my last Sony device…no reason for it not to…you live and you learn…it just sux cause i really only want 4.3 so i can get native Dualshock 3 wireless support for playstation mobile….it requires 4.2….and the only reason i went with another Sony device is because i was holding out hope for remote play on PS3 like the frign Aino does…Definitly not going this route again.

  • Jerry Berglund

We dont know that really. Xperiablog just make an guess that it would be.It can be the first week too.

  • nvier

At least you’re getting the update, calm down and have patience, what’s a few more days gonna do to you? Jesus. Unless you’re going to die tomorrow if you don’t get the update, I suggest you be quiet and wait.

  • lon

Finally!! but sony says it will land on december LOL jokers

  • Nikolai ivanov

    But when is the day?

  • Nikola

For me as an example, I have sony xperia t for couple months, and I am waiting for update to jelly bean 4.3 for a month, and I can’t wait anymore, I will wait for 10 days that is top, if they do not release the update i will sell xperia and buy nokia lumia it doesn’t matter which, just to be nokia, cause i can not hold on with this crap from sony, camera is shit although it has 13 megapixels

  • Matt Riley

Cool I will get my Xperia T out of the draw and update it and then put it back in and forget about it and carry on using my nexus 5. KitKat 4.4.2 all the way baby!!!!!!!!!

Purchased Xperia ZL from windmobile Canada, network
locked. Updated to Android 4.3, 10.4.B.0.569 via Sony computer application. App
Ops &/ Permission Manager option did not work. The screen display flashes
blinks for a sec. and that’s it. Returned it for Galaxy s3, 4.3.
Why did you block App Ops options? Why sony why?
