T-Mobile Z3T-Mobile USA has announced that the Sony Xperia Z3 will be available on October 29 through stores and online. T-Mobile says that a “Well-Qualified Customer” can pick up the handset for no upfront payment and $26.25 a month on a two-year contract.

The handset will also be available to pre-order from 15 October 2014, which means it could end up being delivered prior to the national launch. Unlike the Xperia Z3v for Verizon, this T-Mobile Xperia Z3 model is the same version as released globally, albeit with support for T-Mobile’s nationwide 4G LTE network. At least T Mobile doesn’t ruin the design of the Z3 and other phones, Verizon’s is shit.

    A well-qualified customer. – Lols!

They all say that. Pretty much as long as you don’t have a balance with them or previous collections, then you are considered “well qualified”.

I think you ment to say that at least T-Mobile gets an actual Z3, not a better spec’d Z2 variant like Verizon

You do know that Verizon, AT&T, Sprint or Tmobile or any carrier doesn’t force them to make modifications to a phone right? They pay the maker of the phone extra money to have a special version just for them.. In this case you’d have to blame Sony. But, Sony needs extra money anyway. Tmobile didn’t want to shell out extra cash because the Z3 was good enough as is but Verizon just wanted a special version so they paid extra. Similar to when you buy a new car or a laptop.. You can customize it to your liking. Where did all this rumor and false accusations start that the phone companies bully all these phone makers? I’m curious to know

I think his point is that Verizon ruined the phone by having Sony make the custom one they did for them. What’s incorrect about that? You both said the same thing. Who cares whether Verizon is paying or not. Sony wants the phone on as many networks as possible and Verizon wants to muddy up their phones with logos and mods. He never said anything about Bullying Sony.

I didn’t say he did… Why are you trying to get an attitude? I just wanted to know where the rumors were coming from… Look at the previous posts here and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Verizon ruined the phone? I’ve read countless times on this blog that the the Z2 had better styling, and everyone wanted wireless charging!! So now the Verizon version gives you the best of both! It is the best version, on a superior network with XLTE! Sony and verizon could give each customer a free gold bar with each phone and people on this blog would complain!

I have a Z2 I recently purchased and I love it. I am, however, possibly switching to T-Mobile. Woul it be wise to keep my existing phone, or sell it for the upgrade price of the Z3?

I just completed my order at T-mo. After i submitted my order, a pop-up stated that the Z3 is on BACKORDER:
“… We anticipate this device will be available on

Hopefully i’ll get it before my birthday (3 days before official rollout).
