Android Lollipop software incorporates Google’s Material Design within its interface. This is epitomised by a ‘flat’ design with bright colours. While we await Sony’s interpretation of this within its Xperia devices, we may have got the first hint of what lies in store.
Sony recently updated its TV Sideview application icon, moving from the skeuomorphism with its spherical shading and metallic font to a more flatter icon, more in line with Google’s Material Design principles. We hope to see what Sony has in store with its Lollipop update, we’ll bring you more news as soon as we have it.
