Looks like owners of the Sony Xperia Z1, Z1 Compact and Z Ultra will be joining the Android Lollipop family shortly. New firmware with build number 14.5.A.0.242 has just been certified for all variants of the above handsets with the strong likelihood of this being Lollipop.
Sony said that other variants of the Xperia Z series would start to see the update in around two weeks. This was last week, so potentially we could see Lollipop rolling for the Xperia Z1 series and Z Ultra by the end of this month. We’ll keep you posted on further developments.
