Sony Mobile is rolling a new firmware update for the Xperia Z4 Tablet with build number 28.0.A.8.260. The new firmware is a “bug fix and enhancement” update according to Sony and moves the firmware from current build version 28.0.A.8.251. The new firmware is widely available for both LTE (SGP771) and Wi-Fi (SGP712) variants of the tablet.
Interestingly, there is also a new firmware build available for the Sony Xperia Z3+ Dual (E6533). It is available only for one market (Generic China) and comes with build number 28.0.A.8.266. We’ll let you know if this new ‘266’ build or the 28.0.A.8.260 build starts to roll to global Xperia Z3+ models too.
