I’m really interested what this update does. I’m currently having a problem with my mom’s XA, that it somehow connects to cellular data — even when it is disabled! Thus, she loses her prepaid load even without using it.

When I check the Mobile Data usage, it only shows the “Android OS” app that was able to connect some 100kb of background data!!!

Which is really strange because she only uses internet when on WiFi and not Mobile Data. :(

Create a new access point with false names and incorrect settings. Select it and the phone won’t be able to connect through mobile data while wifi and cell signal is intact. Of course this is a temporary solution unless your mom never uses mobile data.

Still waiting for a new update for my x performance, some sensors are shutting down after a couple of hours and the only way to fix it is to reboot the phone. However the sensors (step counter, accelerometer etc) eventually shuts down again :( Sony is aware of the problem though :p

Yep, same thing here. It’s really annoying when taking photos or trying to watch YouTube.

Yeah and when you want to show someone some of your photos and you cannot tilt them automatically :(

    Battery life is really noticeable!
Power consumption during night (without charger plugged in) has been reduced from 30% to 5%.
