The 1.4Gz Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S is still on track to launch by the end of this month. SE-First has once again managed to get hold of the retail box of a new Xperia before anyone else and promptly shot an unboxing video of both the Pure White and Gloss Black colours of the Xperia arc S. Personally, we much prefer the former, with the Gloss Black version looking like an extreme fingerprint magnet (see the video below).
The sim-free Xperia arc S is still scheduled to launch next week in the UK, but we’ve heard little news on plans from the UK carriers. Three UK has broken ranks and announced that it will be stocking the Gloss Black version exclusively, but we’re left pondering a release date or pricing. We would expect other UK networks to announce their plans pretty soon.
