The Sony Ericsson Xperia ray is a stunning device to hold in your hands. It has a striking design, with its straight lines, metal chassis and glass front. Two of the designers who worked on the handset talk through some of their ideas in developing the Xperia ray.
Shigeaki Suzuki (Industrial Designer) talks about the parallelogram shape and slanted lines that make it sit so naturally in the hand. Whilst Linda Lissola (Colour & Material Designer) says that SE looked at the wider world for inspiration, including insects and feathers, when researching which colours to use.
