The Sony Ericsson Xperia active is now being sold in the United States, only a week after going on sale in the UK. Newegg is selling the unlocked version for $339.99 delivered. As in other regions, the Xperia active comes with attachable ear hooks, an arm case, wrist strap and a 2GB memory card.
In related news, regional US mobile operator C-Spire Wireless is now stocking the Xperia PLAY for $49.99 on a two-year contract. This is the price offered after a mail-in rebate. Like other carriers stocking the handset, the Xperia PLAY comes with a number of games including Madden NFL 11, Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, The Sims 3, Star Battalion, Crash Bandicoot and Tetris.
