The Sony Ericsson Xperia active is known as a rugged smartphone. SE markets it to the sporty given the fact that it is water/dust resistant and has wet finger tracking technology. However, it is also incredibly built if the following videos are anything to go by.
YouTube user crimi8787 really abuses the Xperia active. First off he stabs the display with anything on his tool bench including a Stanley knife, screwdriver and then decides to bash it with a wrench and hammer. If that’s not enough in another video he decides to run over the handset using a Jeep! It’s certainly not easy viewing, but it does command a lot of respect for the Xperia active’s build quality.
