When the Sony Xperia S launched in Canada it was exclusively available through Sony Stores, somewhat limiting its mass penetration. This looks to change when the Sony Xperia ion hits Canada, with Mobile Syrup reporting that the LTE version will be sold through carrier retail locations in addition to the Sony Store.
Release date, prices and carriers remain a mystery for now although history suggests Rogers will be a front-runner however it may also appear on Bell or TELUS. The Sony Xperia ion will go on sale in the United States on 24 June via AT&T.
