Any Music Unlimited users out there? Sony’s music streaming service has seen both its smartphone and tablet apps updated to bring some neat new features. The tablet app has been upgraded to v1.4 which brings offline playback. To enable this, simply go to My Library > Playlists, tap the options button for the playlist you want to have available offline and then select “Available Offline”.

The mobile app has also been updated to v1.4 which brings a 30-second preview mode, even if you do not have a Music Unlimited subscription, as well as the ability to move APK to SD card. Another new feature is the ability to create artist-based internet radio stations. This feature automatically populates a station with tracks related to a selected artist. Both apps are available in the Google Play Store now [Mobile, Tablet].
