Sony’s new tablet which has seen a number of leaks recently both in terms of specs and renders has already adopted the ‘Xperia Tablet S’ namesake by many. However, more convincing proof is out there. It appears that a picture taken by Sony’s new tablet has made its way onto Picasa. The EXIF data of the photo shows the manufacturer as Sony and the model name as ‘Xperia Tablet S’.
This isn’t the most definitive proof, given the ease in which EXIF data can be manipulated, plus the image is just of a blurred mess. However, given the similarities with its predecessor, the Tablet S, there’s every chance Sony will look to just add the Xperia moniker to signify this new tablet as being the next generation.
