We are expecting NTT DoCoMo to formally unveil the Xperia A (SO-04E) in a few hours time in Japan. The handset will be based on the recently announced Xperia ZR, but will feature some Japanese specific features such as One-Seg. Another Japanese operator, AU by KDDI, will also announce its Summer line-up in a few days time and amongst the handsets is expected to be the rumoured Xperia UL (SOL22) codenamed Gaga.
The handset has passed through the FCC and once again left behind a number of leaked pictures. From what we can tell it looks very similar to the Xperia ZR/Xperia A, so perhaps this is AU’s version. Hopefully, all will be revealed shortly.
