A picture from Brazilian site techtudo claims to show the back of the upcoming H2 Sony flagship, codenamed Honami. We can’t verify the authenticity of the image but the picture supposedly shows the handset in between the Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia ZQ (what Brazil calls the Xperia ZL).
The phone looks very similar to the Xperia Z with the same OmniBalance design but appears to have an infra-red sensor, much like NTT DoCoMo’s version of the handset. Stickers cover the bottom of the phone, presumably to avoid giving away exactly which handset is being leaked.
Honami is believed to sport a 20MP camera sensor, although the lens looks no bigger than previous cameras. Recent rumours suggested we may see an Xperia Z refresh with the Snapdragon 800 chipset – could this be it given the similarity in design? Anyway, we don’t expect to hear formal details on Honami for a while, so we’ll keep you abreast of any further leaks.
