NTT DoCoMo has started to showcase the “Xperia feat. HATSUNE MIKU”, a limited edition Xperia A (SO-04E) featuring HATSUNE MIKU. The handset has gone on display in six docomo smartphone lounges nationwide (Sapporo, Tokyo, Kyoto, Umeda, Kobe, Fukuoka) and three Sony Store locations (Ginza, Nagoya, Osaka).
People won’t be able to get hands on though as the goods will be kept behind an acrylic case. There’s no doubt this will be in very high demand. Only 39,000 units will be available when it goes on sale at the end of September, pre-orders start at the end of this month. How we wish we could get our hands on one.
