The Sony Xperia Z Ultra (C68XX) started to receive the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update yesterday, however lucky Sony Z Ultra Google Play Edition (C6806) owners are now receiving Android 4.4.2 KitKat over the air (OTA) in the form of build version KOT49H.S2.2052. The update fixes a number of issues that was plaguing the handset including the app uninstall issue and security settings bug. It also sorts the problems with Google Now voice commands as well as the clear data bug. Developers are doing their best to try to port this update to current Xperia Z Ultra handsets, we’ll keep you posted if anything comes from it.
