Sony D6503 camera manual_1According to a couple of new screenshots from the Sony D6503, codenamed Sirius, it appears that the handset will feature the ability to take pictures at 15.5 megapixels in 16:9 ratio as well as record video at 1080p 60fps. The screenshots were taken from the D6503’s manual camera mode, showing these additions .

Currently, the Sony Xperia Z1 can take pictures at a maximum of 8MP in 16:9, whilst video recording is limited to 1080p at 30fps. Sirius will also be able to record VGA at 4:3, currently missing on the Xperia Z1. We can’t wait to see what else the handset has in store as we gear up for its release at MWC in Barcelona later this month.
