The official launch date for the Sony Xperia Z2 in Singapore is 5 April, but many people that pre-ordered the handset have begun to pick up their handsets a day early. Singtel, in particular, has been allowing customers to pick up their handsets today. Singtel included a free SmartWatch 2 with pre-orders.
Starhub and M1 will have availability from tomorrow and will include a SmartBand. There is no magnetic charging dock included as we saw in the Taiwanese version. At this stage the Xperia Z2 is only be available via the local carriers (Singtel, Starhub and M1). It will launch contract-free in Singapore through Sony Stores in May 2014 for S$998. See some pictures below of lucky customers that have already picked up their handsets.
