Two new firmware builds have been certified for the Xperia M2 (D230X). Firmware version 18.0.C.1.15 has been certified for the D2303 and D2306 variants, whilst firmware version 18.0.A.1.33 was certified for the D2305 version. The Xperia M2 has begun to see a slow rollout globally, it is already out in Russia and India and due to launch in Europe and Canada later this month.
The Xperia M2 has a 4.8-inch qHD (540 x 960) display and 1.2GHz quad-core processor with Adreno 305 graphics (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8226 chipset). Other features include 1GB RAM, 8MP Exmor RS camera, 8GB storage (5GB usable), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and a 2300mAh battery.
