If you own a Sony Xperia device and have unlocked the bootloader of your handset, then you should be familiar with Sony’s boot loader unlock website. We have always found the website easy to use with clear instructions, especially since it can be a complicated process.
The good news is that Sony has relaunched the Unlock Bootloader website, making it easier to get that bootloader cracked. Sony has focused the information needed for your particular handset, so you don’t get unnecessary instructions for other devices. Sony has also included a FAQ to help those who have not completed the process before.
Unlocking the bootloader is now condensed down into the three main steps. 1) Select your device and enter an email address. 2) Submit your IMEI number and 3) Get your unlock code and perform the actual unlocking of the device. It’s worth pointing out that unlocking your bootloader voids the warranty, so tread with caution. Head over to the Unlock Bootloader website to check it out yourself.
