One of the big upgrades that the Xperia Z2 has over the Xperia Z1 is stereo speakers. However, if there are any Xperia Z1 owners who want a taste of stereo sound then you may want to check out a new mod. It uses the earpiece speaker as the second speaker to create stereo sound.
Obviously the earpiece speaker is not designed to output as much sound as the main speaker, so follow the linked instructions carefully to make sure you don’t cause any damage to your handset. The mod can be installed via recovery, all download links can be found at XDA.
