Xperia Z2 update (23.0.1.A.3.9) released for O2 Germany

Sony recently released the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for the Xperia Z2 series in the form of build number 23.0.1.A.0.167. Prior to its release, we had seen a newer build certified with version number 23.0.1.A.3.9 and speculated whether this is the build that might see global release. Well build number 23.0.1.A.3.9 has started to roll and it looks like it is a carrier-specific update only – currently released on O2 Germany only. If you’ve updated let us know your impressions below.

Update: Screenshot for the update shows that the baseband version has moved from build ’12’ to ’18’ [Thanks Aaron!]
